The more and more I think about it... the more it disappoints me. Now, keep in mind that I'm a big fan of Marvel and Disney- sadly, I see Disney as a business void rather than an entertainment corporation. Listen, think about how much Disney owns; how do they own these many things? Money! They literally make billions daily. They're no better than the tobacco or oil businesses. What disappoints me is how limited Marvel Studios is now that Disney bends them over and says "You're mine now!" Disney is to marvel what Negan is to Rick (The Walking Dead) or what Ramsay Bolton is to Theon Greyjoy (Game of Thrones). Marvel has had a history of great crossovers, colorful battles and great team ups (the Illuminati, the New Avengers, Dark Avengers). A lot of people think they will see these on the big screen! Nope...never...ever! Okay, maybe not ever, but not any time soon. Before I get morbidly disappointing, let's just appreciate that we live in the time of great superhero films.
Okay- now the disappointment: if you don't know why these films won't happen, Marvel was going bankrupt at one time and decided to sell the rights for their characters to different studios. X-Men, their villains, the Fantastic Four, and their villains belong to the shit studio known as Fox. Fox fucked up the Fantastic Four twice- and X-Men Apocalypse was mediocre to say the least! Sony has Spider-Man, one of the biggest icons of the Marvel universe (but that's changed since they reached an agreement) but Sony is trying to make a Venom movie! Spider-Man is awesome; I love what Marvel did with him because Sony fucked it up twice.
The reason we won't see the crossovers is because Marvel, as well as Fox, are stubborn as fuck! Marvel is only stubborn because of Disney, and Disney doesn't want to associate with other studios! Why? No clue! Corporation competition being what it is I guess. We will never see an Avengers VS X-Men, Galactus (that isn't a huge stupid cloud) Come to Earth, and Doctor Doom will never have justice as an amazing character! What saddens me the most is the fact that old man Logan will not live up to the comic book. While the trailer looks great, the comic is so much better! In the comic, there's a fucking symbiote possessing a T-Rex, a blind Hawkeye, a gang of ghost riders, a family of redneck hulks and an Old man Hulk! That already sounds awesome- but here's the kicker: Fox is doing the movie! So no hulk, no venom T-Rex, no ghost rider gang, no blind Hawkeye, and no redneck hulk familia! It sucks ass! I wish they pulled a Sony and Marvel trick so Fox can make arguably the greatest comic book film ever!
That's what disappoints me... I would've loved to see a direct adaptation to Old man Logan, but it won't happen! What also saddens me is that Disney only keeps characters like Daredevil or Punisher on the small screen, and Ghost Rider too! I love the dark side of marvel! Blade, Morbius, Johnny Blaze, Blackheart, and stuff like that but Disney is too kid friendly to do make them happen! No rated R Marvel Movies! Disney only wants to outdo other studios to make money! If they waited for "Civil War," it could've actually been a war instead of a five vs five battle at an airport. And they couldn't have done it right without the characters anyway! Marvel can't live up to its potential with their characters at other studios and with Disney bending them over and fucking them! I'd love Marvel more if they had what they're supposed to have!
Thanks for reading, share your opinion as well, and also I have a YouTube page where I go off on this comic, film and nerdy stuff!

Black Jack OVA
Black Jack is one of the various characters of the late manga artist Osamu Tezuka, whose works also include Astro Boy, Jungle Emperor Leo (known as Kimba the White Lion in the US), and Phoenix, respectively. Black Jack acts as a skilled mercenary surgeon, performing various surgeries to whomever pays for his skills. He chooses to operate in the shadows without a proper license, free from rules and corrupt bureaucratic corporations and establishments. Although Black Jack has been animated into two OVAs, two television series, and two films, my personal favorite is the OVA released in 1993.
I'm a fan of Tezuka's usual whimsical art style, but the dark themes and style choice used in the Black Jack OVA perfectly complimented the characters, and generally gave the series a fresh atmosphere of drama and suspense. This 12 episode OVA is what made me personally invested into Black Jack as a character, and his way of turning an everyday profession into something heroic.
I greatly recommend this OVA to anyone interested in medical drama, mystery, and vintage anime.
